K0ETY Repeater Report:
        Jim Biggerstaff, N0TKN, reporting: One issue with UPS batteries was identified. Batteries need to
        be replaced. Board of Directors approved the expenditures.

Missouri Emergency Packet Network (MEPN):
          Jim Biggerstaff, N0TKN, reporting: No issues

Digipeater Report:
           Jim Biggerstaff, N0TKN, reporting: No issues

ARES Report:

            Jerry Sill, NN0JS, reporting: 80 hours credited for ARES volunteers.

            J. D. Simmons, WA0BER, reporting: No Report.

CW Class:

            Kent Trimble, K9ZTV & Bill Gerth, W4RK reporting: Classes ongoing. The club was reminded
            that the CW class schedule changed. The 06:45 class was merged with the 09:00 class. Going
            forward there will be no 06:45 class.

Training Committee:

            Nothing to report.

Old Business:

            1. 147 repeater – Jim Biggerstaff, N0TKN, reporting. Waiting for CAP Region to begin their
               physical installations which should occur in August/September. The club’s repeater move would
               occur during that time.

New Business:

            1. Kent Trimble, K9ZTV, gave a talk on the results of the SKEETER HUNT from 2016. One of
               our teams (K9ZTV, W4RK, N0ESE) came in 5th place. Kent also discussed Wednesday’s
               “Night of Nights” which commemorates the last day of operation of station KPH and how it
               came about.
Announcements:

         1. The Tech Group, which meets the first Tuesday of the month, is always looking for new
            attendees. The next meeting is on August 1.
         2. The next monthly luncheon is Wednesday, July 19.


Upcoming Programs:

         1. August – Rick Bennett, KC0PET, Solar Power Operations.
         2. September – Bill Gerth, W4RK, Remote Operations
